Rating: Summary: A humorous look at college life. Review: "It's funny cause it's true" is an apt description of young Steve Hofstetter's first book. The former sports writer gives us his singular wit and personality throughout this delightful take on college life. Whether you are 18 or 80, this book brings you right back to the collegiate life, though with modern twists and turns for the 2000s. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: an amazingly funny book! Review: a hilarious look at college life, covering everything from instant messaging, dorm life, exams, and relationships. highly recommended for anyone who is upon entering college, has graduated, or would like to venture back onto these "4 to 6" years of their lives.
Rating: Summary: Quite possibly the greatest book on college...ever! Review: A truely funny book. Its a great look at what college life is. It's nice someone is willing to be honest about the experience. I enjoyed the book so much that I wrote a reveiw of it for my school paper. It encourages all the students to buy this book. You should too.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Review: For anyone who has ever been to college, this is a must read book. Steve puts everything that is typical college into this book with a sarcastic spin that you just can't help but agree with and laugh. It is the best of his column for collegehumor.com. It is just a plain old fun book
Rating: Summary: Funny Review: I was a freshman in college when I found a website that talked about this book. The book wasn't expensive and it sounded good. I gave it shot and laughed my rear end off. What Steve writes is so true and extremely funny. I recomend this to anyone in college or who went to college. Or even if you didn't go to school, my mom still thought it was very funny. The best.
Rating: Summary: Steve is the Man Review: I've been reading Steve's work for years now, and this book just puts it all together. The book is great, and everyone should read it.
Rating: Summary: Seinfeld without the humor Review: It's difficult to get laughs with the written word. It's really difficult to get laughs when you try to do a Seinfeld routine & you don't have a very good sense of humor. This "observational humor" is very occasionally slightly clever, but for every 1 partially "witty" quip, there are 60-70 lines that make the reader cringe with embarrassment for the writer. I couldn't make it through the whole book, but I would guess that the only people that gave this book good reviews are the author's family. Save your money and your time. D+
Rating: Summary: SO FUNNY!!! Review: Most college humorists crack jokes about such tired subjects as the bad cafeteria food, small living spaces, and big classes. Funny, sure, but reading it is a lot like having a stand-up comedian joke about bad airline food and how he or she can't program their VCR. In contrast, Steve Hofstetter nailed the college experience to a tee. Everything from classes and parents to hook-ups and parties are discussed in a hilarious (and slightly sarcastic) manner, with unbelievable, undeniable accuracy. Student Body Shots is a must-read for college students and anyone else who fondly remembers the experience.

Rating: Summary: Hilarious- A Must Read Review: Steve Hofstetter is incredibly funny in this book of college humor. It is the best 4 years of your life, and he takes it and makes you roll on the floor with laughter. Hofstetter is a very talented writer who has this ability to make the god's honest truth a complete riot, and that's what makes this book so funny. Definitely a must read for anyone who has ever lived in a college dorm, or just set foot on an American college campus.
