Summary: If You Want To Learn the Recorder
Review: I have the Book/CD/Video set and it's been a great help to learn the soprano recorder. The book assumes a soprano (C key) recorder is being used but someone with a tenor recorder could use this book since the fingering should be the same (both are C key instruments). I only wish an Alto recorder version of this book were available. The tunes are traditionals and easy and fun to play. One short duet is provided. Before each set of songs a new note is introduced along with a diagram of the recorder and which holes to cover. A master finger diagram chart is provided at back. I'm almost at the end and soon will use what I've learned to play Mel Bay's Recorder Book of Medieval and Renaissance Music (ISBN: 0871666731) - which I bought here.
