Summary: Finally something to get your hands on!
Review: I've been a fond reader of Daryl Cagle's website for a long time. It has brightened my day and gave me a smile or a thought to ponder when nothing else could. Political cartoons are an important commentary on our society. They don't always need to be funny, they sometimes just make you think and reflect upon current affairs. They are an easy way to introduce people to the news in an entertaining way and make them keep up with them. Not currently residing in the States I know I've often found myself research on affairs mentioned in the cartoons, things that don't always make the world news.

This book will be a wonderful collection of the cartoons I have enjoyed over the past year and it will always make me remember what things used to rock the world in the year 2004! Get it for your kids and talk with them about the events depicted there! Show it to your friends who never seem to be interested in the news, they will love it! Or just get it for yourself and have a great time enjoying a collection of so many talented cartoonists. All in one book! I can't wait!

Summary: Great New Political Cartoon Book
Review: Just got my copy in the mail and I think this book is great. I am a huge fan of the Cagle Web site and look at it several times a week when I get the chance. I am a big fan of editorial cartoons and now I can have a book with some of my favorites from the web site in it like Mike Ramirez and Brian Farrington, who both kick ass sometimes. I would certainly tell my friends back at Stanford to get this book too...I hope they will continue to put out new editions every year.

Review: My copy came in the mail yesterday and I think the book is just great. I didn't realize there were so many cartoonists out there! I just wish I could have gotten a copy before Christmas because I would have given them out as presents....so next year try and print them earlier!!! LOVE the book!...the Slate site too!
