Review: This is an anthology of essays about Latino representations in the media. Most of the authors are Latino; some are Anglo. The book is very gay-friendly and -inclusive as well. Don't sleep!: the articles here are highly academic. This book is not a simple read. In addition, some of the works they discuss are incredibly obscure and not easily rented. It's very good that the editors thought of such a fresh subject area.
