Review: Comprehensive coverage on contemporary rock guitar techniques for 70 -80s. You may not agree the materials taught are "secrets" but they are the basics which every immediate rock guitar player must know. You would find them in most of the repertoire of great rock guitarists (such as Beck, Santana, Van Halen..etc). I found the book very good in terms of explaining the concepts and techniques. Definitely useful for a immediate guitar players who wants to learn by copying others.
The author has written another bookthat illustrates great rock players' sound which can be used as a supplement to this book.
