Review: Both this book on Rhythms and the complimentary book on solos is the way for any budding blues musician to get started. Geared toward the beginner, this book teaches rhythms within a single string format, so understanding complex chord structures is not a requirement. It is required that you work outside the single string concept and eventually apply the same techniquest to chordal structures, but you can handle this at your own pace, while still learnign a lot about the Blues beat.
