Review: The author clearly is a very original historian presenting some of the results of his work here: for instance, he offers (unobtrusively, by way of example) a completely new, fresh interpretation of supposedly known events, like his report that "General Militates beat the Greeks in the battle of Marathon...". This fresh prospective will trigger a long-overdue re-evaluation of our preconceived notions of history and will, doubtless, be a positive contribution to the improvement in diplomatic relations with Iran.

The book is also useful in other ways, btw.
