Review: Hello im Paul. From Buffalo NY, I am a huge fan of Cher. I'm 15 which is kind of wierd to like Cher considering I havent lived in the 70's, She was very popular during that decade. With her Sunny and Cher Show, and the abulms they made together. But she is still rockin today. With her new abulm called Believe. I admire her today just as I do with Bett Midler. Because they are two entertainers that still have the talent today, unlike most artists from the 70's. This Book brings out the best in Cher. And has some funny scenes in her life. Sunny and Cher were the perfect match for each other. For people that are not interested in reading, will find interest when reading this book. Its fun and exciting book to read. With lots of Pictures of Cher from the past and today.

Review: I read this book two years ago. My best friend gave this book to me as a birthday present.

The cover of the book is very beautiful and all Cher fans will be totally delighted since the book has several pictures of her. However, I wasn't too sure what to expect when I started reading the book and I was surprised that it was very well written. It was structured from her early childhood days until 1999 and I didn't expect her to be so funny and witty.

She writes about her fears when she started singing again before she did a spectacular comeback in the late 80's and about the loss of Sonny Bono.

The book was really delightful for me, even for a person who is not a fan of Cher but likes her very much. Still I wouldn't consider it as being one of my favorite books of all time. But when you're reading many books anymore, you shouldn't miss this one because it ranks on my list of "very good and delightful book."

Review: I'm a Cher fan, but this book didn't cut it. Boring. I realize the book was titled "The First Time" but after reading Cher's first few times for this or that I got as bored as she looks on the cover.

I do "believe" that Cher should stick to singing, not writing.

It is a book that will be read and re-read, not only because of its laugh-out-loud humor, but thoughtful stories that are true tear-jerkers. The way this book is presented is totally original, instead of standard novel-form, it is divided into short stories of Cher's "first time" for everything. This makes the book much more interesting as you cannot wait to proceed to the next chapter. Cher has surpassed herself once again, she is now a best-selling author. I recommend this book to anyone, not just hard-core Cher fans but anyone who wants to read the honest and one-of-a-kind story of a true icon.

Review: What can I say about an Icon? This book is where Cher talks very openly about her life and is a must read for fans and non- fans alike as she remembers the "first time" on several events in her life. We can all find a little bit of strength in her personality and if we could all have a little bit of Cher's wisdom (displayed very well in this book) this world would be a much better place.

Review: What can I say, except CHER.There`s nobody else in the world like her. Rich, Famous, Powerful, Talented, Beautiful, Down to Earth, And full ofATTITUDE!!! Now she adds one more thing to her already hectic and buzy life, she wrote a book, and a very let em have it book at that. She shares her most intimate and personal memories and feelings with the world. Something not to many woman can do, even with their family or friends. But she did it and it`s great. She lets us know about her family, career, feelings and memmories. I think alot of women can only dream of living Chers life, and this is why she wrote this book, to let people know that she is human too. She has succes, morals, happiness, tragedy, saddnes, illness and just takes one day at a time and deals with the things that God lays upon her. So if you like Cher and like to read, you have to buy her book, I havn`t read many books in my life, but of the ones I have, this one rates right up at the top of the list. It has a little bit of every human emotion all wraped up in one HEARTWARMING novel!!!
