Rating: Summary: The Wrong and Winding Chords Review: After anticipating this book for several years, I was thoroughly disappointed when it finally was released. If you already have the have the 1967-1970 (blue album) book, then you've already got the same transcriptions for Across the Universe, Let it Be, The Long and Winding Road, and Get Back. Yes, the versions of a few of those songs are different on the Let it Be album, but Hal Leonard gave us the versions they already transcribed. This is incredibly annoying for the very different guitar solo in Let it Be. Get Back is also the single version in this book (easily noticeable by inclusion of the reprise). Across the Universe lacks the guitar riff towards the end. There's also several TABs in this book that appear to be printed over (i.e. the number 6 can have a 9 reprinted directly on top of it, making for hard reading). The rest of the songs are transcribed decently, but if you're wanting this book for more than a few songs, I'd spend your money elsewhere. (It should be noted that I bought this book shortly after it's release, and it is slightly possible that there is a revised version. I, however, am not aware of this).
