Summary: A refreshing, witty read that will keep you in stitches
Review: As a single guy, I was skeptical at first about purchasing a book on "Mommys" and marriage. Indeed, sports, beer and sex (in that order) are more pressing matters for me these days. However, after a very enjoyable read, I can say that this book is a must own for every guy who is contemplating walking the nuptial gauntlet!

Bakeman and Krinbring deftly explain the tragic transformation that many women go through as they settle down in a relationship. The wedding is but the first step in a slow process of husband domestication. Guys beware! As the authors point out, "like the frog in boiling water, you will be cooked before you even know it!"

Married to Mommy is a refreshing, witty guide on how to deal with the inevitable female metamorphis. Yes, it's true!!! The authors have confirmed my suspicion. The wedding and the kids will change her. Don't wait to find out for yourself! Listen to the advice of the authors before it's too late. With their witty commentary and sage advice us guys may be able to more effectively defend ourselves or at least find a happy medium of coexistence with the Mommys of the world. Long live the "Slimmies."

Summary: This book is for immature jerks only
Review: I consider myself a regular guy who likes to watch sports, go golfing, hang with my friends, and have a family. This book is about the same kind of guy, except they've pushed the family part out of the way.

I'd bet most of the guys that can relate to this book are divorced, or in a miserable marriage.

I thought this book was just plain stupid.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very disapointing.
Review: I don't believe a "mommy" was involved in writing this book.
It was written by 2 men and I would never go for marriage counseling to them.
I think that "trying to understand what it's like to be and to feel as a mommy" would help "the guys" much more than following the "advice" that was given in this book.
To obtain free time, the authors recommend to invent an imaginary friend the husbands can go out with and if "the guys" feel they have too much on their chores list, there is advise on what to do to make it even shorter.
This book is supposed to be taken as "humorous". For true advise on how to have a fulfilling marriage after having kids, choose another book!

Summary: married to mommy
Review: So...have my wife and I been on some reality TV show without our knowing it? These guys nail it. If you have a buddy about to get married, save a little beer money and buy him this guide. At least he'll go into the fray with his eyes wide open.

Summary: Very disapointing.
Review: Thank god for the Professors of Matrimony and this new book. I thought something was wrong with me, but it turns out I was simply "morphing" into a Mommy! So I bought the book. My husband and I have been laughing about my "condition" ever since.

Summary: CROSS BETWEEN A MULTI-READ AND REFERENCE MATERIAL
Review: This is a great read for men who can handle the truth.
If you have the guts to read how we are lead around by our nether "parts", have little to no self-control, cannot wipe our own [rears], and then complain when someone does it for us..... this is the book for you. heheheheh

Summary: Even a Woman finds it funny
Review: Yes, even a woman finds "Married to Mommy" funny. The book gets you laughing aloud when it is trying to make fun of "Mommies". The truth is that it really is making fun of the stupidity of men and their simple basic needs of sex, getting out of work, and beer. Of course, the truth is always funny.

A definite MUST for any woman, married or not. We will now know all the secret tricks the men try to use on us.

By the way, I am NOT a MOMMY!
