It is amazing how simple it is to learn some challenging beats such as the samba, salsa, or difficult funk and jazz patterns by using this approach. The basic concept is to first learn the pattern on the snare then apply it to the kit. And it works!

For me, this book was a breakthrough to a whole new level of playing. Highly recommended!
