Summary: Humor IS the best medicine!
Review: I laughed till I cried. For those out there who think that self-help books can solve all your problems, this may not be for you. But those of us who think this whole self-help thing has gone too far, will be highly amused by the authors' creative parody of the most popular books in this area.

The authors create book blurbs around their made-up titles. The text is evenly funny throughout. Even if this was created one or two nights in a bar over some drinks, it's a hysterical romp.

Some zany book titles include: I'm OJ, Your OJ, Embraced by the Light FM, and a spoof on all those helpful travel guides -- Let's Go Hell.

It makes for some great bathroom reading, or might be perfect as a gag gift for friends who may be hapless victims of this self-help syndrome. My advice, quit reading books about how sick you are and how you need to change, and start reading more books such as this and develop a sense of humor. Laughter IS the best medicine.

Summary: Razor-Sharp Wit!
Review: I love so much the being of this book! It's the only thing I have in my bathroom (besides toilet paper). You can turn to any page and find some hysterical line and clever take. The self-help section keeps growing, and Self-Helpless is the antidote!

Summary: Drop-Dead Funny
Review: This book had me laughing out loud in the store, which is something I almost never do. The parodies are really funny, and every page is jam-packed with all these clever jokes. My favorite page is "Do What You Love and The Money Will Follow: The Complete Guide To Sperm Bank Donation." Totally sick! If you are tired of self-help, you should read this book.

Summary: I self-helped myself to some belly-laughs
Review: This book is one-of-a-kind for poking fun at the world of self-help mania. I was motivated to try out the new diets in "Eat the CalZone" and a bit humbled by "The Ruler". Self-Helpless is great fun.
