Summary: As real as it gets!
Review: Nehoc paints a vivid picture of what it was like to be a police officer in the "Belly of the Beast", the NYC Subway. His vignettes of the now defunct NYC Transit Police capture the gritty, hard edged, and often very funny aspects of policing. I would have liked to be there for some of the wild stories related by Trebor.

I enjoyed Nehoc's slick writing style and tongue-in-cheek humor. I can't wait for the movie!

Summary: I laughed until I cried...and then I laughed some more!
Review: You don't have to be a subway aficionado or even a fan of the New York City Police Department to enjoy this book. Everyone will get a kick out of the subterranean adventures of Officer Nehoc and his merry band of cops. These are the kind of stories that have "only in New York" stamped all over them. Read it and weep--with tears of laughter! Then tell all your friends to get their own copies because you'll want to read yours again and again.
