Summary: Enough!
Review: Stop whining Elizabet

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Breathtaking, heartbreaking............yet exhilerating
Review: Being a recovered depressive I can truely empathise with this book. I can understand why Elizabeth Wurtzell wanted to write this in the fashion she did. No one who has't experienced such trauma can understand how harrowing it is. This book truely moved me and "Depressed" is truely an overused term in todays society. Highly recommended.

Summary: Excruciatingly Amazing
Review: This book is like a modern, more accessible version of The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. It is the most truthful description of what it feels like to be depressed that I have ever read. This should be read by everyone who is having to grow up in these times.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: I read this book on a vacation in Florida. Instead of going to the beach and enjoying the sun, I stayed in my hotel and Prozac Nation. I couldn't put it down. My personal experiences allowed me to relate to her story, and I encourage anyone suffering from depression to read it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Prozac Nation helped me understand myself.
Review: After I read this book, I began to understand what I had been struggling with the last few years. Her account was honest and accurate and hopeful. She helped to inspire me to get better, and also to help me realize I was using my illness as a crutch.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: By far the best book I've read!!!!
Review: I found this book to be amazing. I loved it! I couldn't put it down. It is a compelling tale of her life and how she fought depression and won. I would recomend it to anyone who has an intrest in depression.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Powerful, Sad, Desperate
Review: Prozac Nation is a graphic account of how the author dealt with depression. At times, she comes off as self absorbed, but in these chapters, a reader gets a good understanding of how depression destroys not only the life of the person, but also that of the people around them. Most people would probably not be able to relate to Elizabeth. From the time she is eleven, she in caught up in her misery and nothing changes until she finally goes on medication. Even then, she's just able to cope better. I would still recommend this book, however. She literally shocks people into understanding her feelings. She was truly "full of promise" at a young age and her story of how she dealt with the inconsistencies of her life was fascinating.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Prozac Nation, I feel is a very excellent book!!!
Review: This book helps readers understand what depression is and what depressed people go through. It also helps some depressed people to relate to Elizabeth, and it shows them that you can get better, some with help. The only bad thing about this book is that it has some unappropriate parts that are very graphic.[This book many not be appropriate for some young adults.]
