Summary: Stunning! Perfect for Beginners and Experts
Review: I've been teaching Marketing at various schools in Australia and the U.S. for 30 years now, and I've read just about every book on the subject of marketing and influence there is. This book ranks right up there with "Selling the Invisible", "Guerrilla Marketing", and "Scientific Advertising" as one of the absolute greats. If I were to recommend 5 books on marketing, this would be one of them. This is one of those rare books where the beginner will instantly grasp profoundly valuable concepts and the expert will walk away with new information and a new understanding. Anyone who isn't blown away by this book has got to be a little daft, I think. A book like this comes along perhaps once a decade.

Summary: Best Marketing Book I've Read
Review: If you want a book that's easy to understand and will get you great results fast, read this book. It's the real deal.

Summary: THE Business Book of the Decade
Review: The negative reviews of this book are way off. With national news stories about this book and the marketing world now catching the buzz phrase "mind control marketing" this book is a phenomenon.

I work at a major advertising firm in NZ and this book has fast become our bible. Many other marketing and advertising agencies are following suit from what I can see.

No other book has had the kind of impact on the way we operate than this one.

The only problem is, it's hard as heck to get a copy right now! Amazon can't seem to keep it in stock and major distribution is just getting under way from what I hear.

Anyway, just ask any advertising executives you know and they'll tell you: Mind Control Marketing is the new buzz word.

Read this book or fall behind the times.

Summary: Trite material
Review: This book is full of too-clever-by-half advice and pedestrian observations about how to "con" average people into giving you, the online marketer, money for nothing. The thesis is supported only by the most rudimentary documentation. What's required to enjoy this book is wishful thinking - that people are pre-programmed, and that you can become a millionaire by manipulating them with these blunt tactics. The average Internet user will see through this crude wishful thinking by the third page.

Summary: Had to read it for myself
Review: A few of my close friends kept telling me what a great book this was, but I didn't believe them until I read it for myself. Could a marketing book be any better? Honestly, one of the best I've read so far.

Summary: Finally, a book the blows the lid off HOW to internet market
Review: As a physician, psychiatrist and internet marketing expert myself, I know the vital importance of persuasion in ANY marketing copy. People often need to be ethically convinced about why they really need your product or service. The internet has its own rules, the key one being it is in a constant state of flux and change. What NEVER changes is the need to master proven marketing concepts. The author is himself a well known and successful internet marketer. His book is well thought out, with copious examples and copy. He really shows you what works and why. I would highly recommend this book if you are serious about having an e-commerce presence.

Summary: You have to read this!!
Review: Everyone needs to get their hands on this book. Trust me, no one will regret taking the time to read this. It's so hilarious! The pictures are pretty graphic, but I guess its used to get the point across. I wish I had this book a few years ago, I know that I could have made a lot more money.

Summary: The book was better than I ever expected
Review: This book is great! It's not like your typical marketing book. It's fun and easy to read and I've learned more from this book than any other marketing book I've read. Buying this book is definitely one of the best investments I have ever made.

Summary: Good book, disregard the negative reviews.
Review: I am always surprised at how quickly people are ready to attack success.

First: I am not affiliated in any way with Mr. Joyner. I am on one of his email newsletter lists (voluntarily, I might add).

The people who have labeled his emails as "spam" must be confused about the meaning of that term. Mr. Joyner practices a very rigorous anti-spam method of marketing. His web site is very clear on this.

The book is about MARKETING... and he used MARKETING to get his book to #1. Lots of authors give incentives to readers for buying their books - almost all of the SUCCESSFUL ones do. What are book tours, bonus books, and book signings about if not to "manipulate sales"?

This is a very good book that relates some of the reasons marketing works. If you're looking for a "fill in the blanks" textbook, this isn't it - but it never claimed to be.

I hate seeing an innocent man attacked needlessly. Please ignore the petty shots taken at Mr. Joyner by the "self proclaimed curmudgeons" here. Remember, "those who can, DO. Those who CAN'T become critics."

Summary: I learned so much!
Review: I just can't get enough of this book. It is absolutely the most interesting, hilarious and educational book I have ever read. I think a person has to be crazy not to buy this book.
