Rating: Summary: Shafer's 'Cheese' has bite! Review: I just finished reading Ross Shafer's book "Nobody moved your cheese" on my flight to Alaska and I have already recommended it to several people on the plane. I am going to tell all of my friends, co-workers and even strangers, that they must read this book. It is the best Self Help/non-Self Help book you will ever read. Shafer takes on the so-called self helpers, with great wit and insight. It is a very enjoyable read!!! Now, you must excuse me. I have to go figure out my 'Plan B'. (When you read the book you will know what I mean.)
Rating: Summary: Funny, insightful, and motivational Review: I know Ross Shafer is a very intelligent comedian who writes thought provoking, topical, and hysterical material...and then takes it to the stage and performs as well as any comedian in the business today. Why am I not surprised that he would write a book that's not only funny and insightful; but motivational. If you feel that life knocks you on your butt every now and then, read 'Nobody Moved Your Cheese' and I promise you (like the lyrics in one of Frank Sinatra's) songs - You'll pick yourself and get back in the race.
Rating: Summary: Finally, someone who speaks my language! Review: I've seen Ross on countless television shows and always found him to be a brilliant comedian. With his new book he helps unlock the secrets of coming across to other people. After reading it I am now more prone to trust my own instincts than listen to some quack on the radio tell me how to live.Ross gets it. The economy stinks right now, but this book shows how when things get tight it can be a real opportunity. Buy it!
Rating: Summary: I like knowing where my cheese is Review: It's about time someone took on all these self help/self promotion books on how to run your life! I don't know about most of you, but, honestly, I buy these books based on the title and promise that somehow I will become enlightened during the course of digesting the ideas. The problem is I generally get bored by the time I'm at chapter 2 and the book joins so many others on my bookshelf in the impressive but unread section. Nobody Moved Your Cheese is an easy quick entertaining read that hits on a lot of important stuff that should be obvious but isn't until you think about it. Its virtue lies in its simplicity and accessability. You can get through it, get it and get on with it. Practical ideas and suggestions that work and can be implemented immediately.
Rating: Summary: A refreshing read! Review: Just finished reading "Nobody Moved Your Cheese" and was pleasantly surprised! I actually laughed out loud more than a few times at some of the scenarios Mr. Shafer presented. I recommend this book to anyone who can see the humor of the business world!

Rating: Summary: What everyone is thinking but afraid to say Review: Ross's book is absolutely hilarious. I sent it to several of my friends because I knew they would love it too...AND they did...there are so many self help silly books out there and ross's book is a spoof on all of it...but the best part is he is on target and right...its an easy read and a GREAT gift!! The men I know all loved it and agreed 100% with his thoughts and comic way of presenting what we do all really think about some of the other books out there!!!
Rating: Summary: This book is right on the money ...and funny Review: Someone gave me this book and I had never heard of this Ross, Guy so it sat around my office for a couple of weeks. I had a dental appointmentthe other day and hate the magazines in my Dentist's office so I grabbed this book on the way out of the office.I couldn't put it down!!. Even that night when my mouth hurt I kept reading the darn thing. The parts about Tony Robbins and Dr. Laura are halarious and absoultey true. This writer, Shafer, should have is own Infomercials. RK
Rating: Summary: Turn Down The Radio Review: The other day I saw Cher on television giving self-help advice. I personally never trusted Cher or any Doctor who doesn't use a last name. My advice is to turn down the radio and take 33 minutes to read "Nobody Moved The Cheese." You will never have to listen to those first name doctors or entertainers again.
