Review: My soul had been longing for revelation and understanding on this topic for some time. The day I came to Amazon.com, I wasn't even looking for this book, however the Holy Spirit led me to it and I am truly grateful. Ty Adams does not tiptoe around the tulips when it comes to dealing with the extremely important issue of being single and saved yet wondering why sexual activity is still running rampant in the church and elsewhere.

I read this book in a matter of HOURS! I couldn't put it down and have already started reading it a second time. THIS BOOK IS NOT JUST FOR SINGLE WOMEN, ITS FOR SINGLE MEN TOO! I'm a single woman who has reclaimed celibacy (and will keep it that way until marriage) and I understand more clearly how powerful my thoughts are. I understand that the enemy comes to attack your mind and if your mind isn't renewed after you get saved, you will still think the same way you did about dating and having sex until you seek out practical answers and revelation in this area.

Ty tells her story which made me realize that she and I both have felt and/or thought the same way about issues relating to sex such as feelings of loneliness, wanting to be held yet still live for Christ, using a strong sexual drive as an excuse to continue having sex, and the damaging effects of sexual abuse in your past.

Ty also educates men and women about our flesh and how most of the bad choices we make are due to our unwillingness to use our common sense. Understanding that common sense is not common, this book is a MUST READ if you even think you may have sex (being unmarried) in the near future and consider yourself to be saved. You'll wish you didn't.

Most importantly, Ty effectively uses biblical scripture to lay the foundation down in truth about what God says about who we are and what we are in Christ. This is not a book of her opinions, it is of revelation so if you are truly thirsty for deliverance in this area, make this book a part of your permanent book collection as I have.

Summary: Not one of my best books
Review: The title is the best thing about this book. Besides needing editing work, this book is alot of hype. One can read the Bible and get the answers they need without the critical, don't do it because it's wrong kind of book I found this one to be. I was disappointed, being a saved single myself and waiting on God's man; I don't need anyone telling me what I should not do, I know that. What happen to expressing the LOVE OF GOD? I gave it 2 stars just to be nice. I gave this book away, hopefully the next reader will get more out of it than I did.

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: This book has been one of the most inspirational pieces of literature that I have read regarding the subject of sex and how young people who are single, dating, or even in relationships should conduct themselves as saved Christians. Unfortunately, there are not many books (or people for that matter) that speak so candidly about the subject of sex and the struggle that many unmarried Christians face in this world today, and the author really breaks it down for you piece by piece.

Ty Adams uses her experiences in life as examples and lessons to the reader, and what I enjoyed MOST about her writing is that she referenced her statements to the Bible. She relates to the youth of this day and age, using practical examples and how one should deal with sex, lust, etc. The author does not focus on a religious perspective, but the emphasis is more about your personal spiritual relationship with the Lord.

If you are even considering reading this book, take that step and buy it. It is a great enlightenment tool for those who are struggling and need practical advice to the subject of sex.

Summary: Rather read No More Sheets
Review: This book is another don't do book. I am a saved married woman who teaches abstinence for a living. I struggled with abstinence only after becoming engaged. The books is pratical but I agree with another reader who stated that the answeres found here are best found in the Bible. I found Jaunita Bynum's No More Sheets a better read and more informative. I am always leary of Christians trying to determine what is sin in the bedroom of a married couple, since the Bible states the marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled. If you are saved and have the Spirit of God in your life you know when you are doing wrong. You don't need a book to convict you. You have the Holy Spirit to tell you what is right and wrong. This facts in this book are a case for abstinence which is medically best and spiritually based. The best thing one can offer a single saved woman is alternatives to temptation. Suggestion for things to do without doing it can be found in better books like " A New Dating Attitude" by Susan Johnson Cooke

Review: What I love most about this book is in Chapter 5 where you give powerful, pratical steps to overcome sexual temptations. In my struggle for many years as a single woman, I have searched but never have found such a profund book like this one that is direct, candid and uplifting as this one. For a taboo subject on sex, many never even scractch the surface, but you have really hit the head of the nail! I highly recommend this book, it's a must to anyone who have a struggle or addiction to sex. It will both inspire and educate you and give you the strength and the willpower to uphold the Word of God. It will leave you with the attitude of accomplishment and inner peace. It will truly bring joy to your life, knowing that the joys of sex can be wonderfully explored in the santity of marriage. Don't prolong your suffering, get this book TODAY!
