Summary: Homeopathy - the deepest-acting medicine we know
Review: Amy Lansky is part of a new "breed" of health practioners dedicated to helping people realize true, lasting CURE to chronic illness. She is one of many people who, in their previous professions, started to ask the hard questions of conventional medicine as to why we see so few real cures. Then, having received no satisfying answers, these scientifically-trained, business-savy people like Amy launch the search for solutions. Her search led her to the 200-year old system of medicine called homeopathy which brought about what homeopathy likes to call, "the beautiful cure" - one that is slow, but steady and has a definate end point where all is left is health.

In her landmark book (much loved within the homeopathic community), she presents the grand vision that homeopathy has always held: that true cure is possible and is routinely realized. It presents real hope to parents and patients alike who have received little hope that their illness is curable.
But, as Ms. Lansky stresses later, readers must realize these cures take some months and need to be patient and let the medicines do their wonders. But it is possible and to be expected!

There is something in her book for everyone from the scientific skeptic to the mother of three children with serious behavioral disorders. It is written with skill and precision.

Summary: refreshing look at homeopathy
Review: Amy Lansky's command of the history and practice of homeopathy is self-evident, her writing style brings the story to life, and her information is based on sound scholarship. I also liked this book because it doesn't over-promote, and it presents a strong case why one should seriously consider homeopathy as a viable medical alternative, and not only when conventional methods fail.

Summary: Discover the Magic of Homeopathy
Review: Amy Lansky, is a brilliant communicator-teacher. Her book about homeopathy is intertwined with the story of recovery of her son from autism. If you care about your loved-ones, if you care about yourself, your health, the quality of life, you must read this book. It will change your life forever.

Summary: The title says a lot about what's in the book
Review: As a skeptic of most alternative medicines, especially Homeopathy, I was especially intrigued by the great reviews stating (and I paraphrase) things such as "incredible insight into how homeopathy works" and things like that. Well, the author honestly states that how and even why homeopathy seems to work is not currently understood and is undergoing more study. She makes a few careful analogies to "mysterious workings" of quantum physics and how that is apparently accepted...and reviews a few of the potential mechanisms that might help explain why Homeopathic remedies might work, which is interesting, but not convincing. I was looking for some description of the studies and some plots of raw data but didn't really find any. The author does cite articles (which I haven't looked into) from well known journals such as Nature to back up some of her claims. However, one might argue that the most important statement she makes in this book is that (and I paraphrase again) medical doctors should use whatever means available to cure the patient, or in other words, they shouldn't be so quick to dismiss something that might help, and they most definetly do not understand.
All in all, the book does not pretend to explain everything about homeopathy and gives a fair, introductory review of this field of study. I must say, even though I am not convinced that Homeopathy does work, it has piqued my interest and I won't be so quick to dismiss this in the future.

Summary: Wonderful book for a thorough introduction to Homeopathy
Review: I am a homeopath and have known Amy for many years via email and have known her success story with homeopathy and her son Max

This is an excellent book for those who want to know more about homeopathy - she writes wonderfully and says much of what I like to share with people. Its a very thorough, well written, introduction. I teach online homeopathy intro courses and am now recommending this to my students as well as my patients and those I teach about the dangers of vaccines.

I just wish so many others would know the miracles of homeopathy and especially those with vaccine damaged kids, especially autism.

Thank you Amy for sharing your wonderful story as well as so many others and making homeopathy come alive!
