Rating: Summary: ok but... Review: this book has too many distracting pictures, it comes across as a childrens book. The book is informative but needs some profesional work done to it. If you dont mind a picture book to learn about digestive problems, than this book is for you.

Rating: Summary: Everything you ever wanted to know about Digestive Care... Review: This book might as well be subtitled. "Everything you wanted to know about Digestive care but didn't even know how to ask!" I thought I knew quite a bit and this book opened the door to better comprehension. I have studied Natural Medicine for many years now and this book is destined to become a classic. It covers all of the bases and brings the reader to an understanding of what digestion is, how poor digestion begins, the consequences of poor digestion and how you can restore health naturally. I have read the book twice and can honestly say that it should be required reading for anybody who has ever experienced indigestion, heartburn or constipation. When you understand what causes these problems you can provide the body with the necessary ingredients so that it can get back in control. I enjoyed the easy to understand illustrations and great pictures that bring the topic to life. There are a handful of books that I consider "required reading" for those interested in good health. "Renew Your Life" is definitely on that list. 60 years ago Dr. Bernard Jensen stated that disease begins in the gut. This book has allowed me to understand that statement and what to do about it. In a nutshell, this is a great book.
