Summary: Take It from a Man-This Woman Knows Nothing
Review: I as a man picked up this book because I wanted to know what kinds of tricks malicious women might throw at me, and finished it feeling sorry for any woman who might read it. Much of the advice given in here will backfire with today's man--at least with me. The author assumes men today are traditional, and they are not. In fact they are tired of women's games, and fully cognizant of the fact that the traditional role model she espouses is a raw deal for men. Part of her advice is sound--be somebody people can respect. But today's man knows that he cannot get a good woman unless SHE does part of the chasing and initiating herself. If she never, ever makes a first move then how on earth is he supposed to know she's interested in him and not just playing him for a fool? If you as a woman want to know what REALLY works, I'd suggest you go to askmen.com and check out what the men are saying--today's man is no longer interested in projecting his own interest level on a woman--he wants HARD EVIDENCE that you are really interested in him.

Summary: Great advice book
Review: I couldn't put this book down once I started reading. It has good advice on dating which was really helpful. After being out of the dating scene for a few years the advice helps me get back into the right mindset & habits for dating. It's well worth the money to buy this book you'll enjoy reading it! :)

Review: I couldn't put this book down. It was easy reading and I'm getting it for my sisters and girlfriends. It is an easy read because it is brief and to the point as well as comical at times.
I hope it works. I know of some females who are "Dream Girls" and it works for them- but I it was natural for them. Now it is for me too. Kudos to Lisa Daily

Summary: This is the best dating book I've ever read; great for women
Review: I love this book. I thought it was empowering and fun. Lisa writes like she is my best friend. She gives very practical advice.Thinking back at my past relationships, there are a lot of mistakes that I made that her book would have helped me avoid. Those mistakes included dropping everything to be with the guy I was dating, calling too much and solely focusing on what he needed rather than my own desires. Every woman should read this book TODAY!

Review: I loved this book! What's not to love??? It offers a practical plan to meet and marry that wonderful person, without requiring that I be other than who I really am. I also loved this author's writing style--funny, friendly, and down to earth. Excellent! Thank you!

Summary: Short read - good information
Review: I read this book in a day and I'm not a reader. Although this book is very short, it gets right to the point. I related to just about everything in here. It is basic morals that, I hate to say it, your mother taught you. And they work. Don't let it go in one ear and out the other because you will attract so many more men, and keep them, if you just follow what Lisa Daily writes in this book. I started passing the book to my friends who are having bad relationships. You will have the men wanting you like crazy!

Summary: Fantasy thoughts...
Review: I read this book months ago and at first I thought it was pretty good but then after reading about how the author and her friends got their men to propose marriage on top of the Eiffel Tower and other "fantasy" places it seemed too unrealistic. Things like that happen but not for everyone. Lisa Daily is in a dreamland. She was lucky to find the man she did who keeps "after her" and she sits back and enjoys it. The tactics in this book work for some people but not for all. This book is similiar to "The Rules" which is unrealistic expectations and if every woman out there thought all of these ideas and manipulations could possibly work she's dreaming as well as Ms. Daily. Some of these authors who experience something fantastic find it helps others if they print about their experiences. Not true for normal people who want normal relationships. I would just like to have my guy spend more time with me and if he asked me to marry him it could be at a beach or on a picnic - he wouldn't have to go through the hassles of flying me across the country to do it. Nice but not necessary. However, this book provided fairytale entertainment that should be considered reading for fantasy wants and dreams.

Summary: Learn what your friends don't have the nerve to tell you...
Review: I read this book to see if there really was substance past the insulting title. There IS. This is a quick read, but very to the point and very motivational. Any woman - married, or just starting to enter the dating arena, can benefit from this book. It should have an addendum of "and how to keep your man interested." Simple, straitforward advice that will help you improve your attitude on dating. Other chick books like "Between Boyfriends" are entertaining, but if you want to get some good ideas, this book is for you.

Summary: Great Book- Small but packed with information!
Review: I really liked this little book! It is very thin but it says alot in a small amount of words.I was a bit disappointed in that it used alot of "The Rules" (i.e. don't call a man, don't accept last minute dates,etc.) but was basically re-written. Being a "Rules girl" I firmly agreed with this, but felt I was reading someone else's book partially.
However the info on bringing up marriage and how to handle that and not pressuring men has been a GODSEND!!Lisa is very smart and this book is straightforward and pulls no punches- I recommend it to all my friends- in addition to the Rules!! :)

Summary: It really works.....try it!
Review: I saw Lisa Daily explain the Stop Getting Dumped! method on The Other Half and while the audience members tended to disagree with her ideas I was thinking to myself "I totally agree!" everytime she said something. So I had to read the book. Lisa's advice is practical, logical, and it really works. I liken dating with dieting. We know what works, it's just that many of us lack the willpower to follow through. We tend to take the "instant gratification" path, i.e. eating that piece of chocolate cake, or calling that guy. I decided to suck it up and really stick to Lisa's advice and by simply not returning a couple of phone calls, the guy I like is practically putty in my hands. It's THAT SIMPLE. But remember, it's easy to become complacent so you have to stick with it. Even if you think you've already screwed up in the relationship, it's not too late. Please read this book and follow Lisa's advice.
