Summary: A Romantic Adventure a Day Will Keep the Divorce Lawyer Away
Review: As a dating & relationship author, I am constantly looking for new information about any aspect of love or romance. When I first saw this book, I'll have to admit that it was much larger than I'd expected. I tend to be attracted to smaller self-help books that can be carried inconspicuously, or stuffed in a pocket or purse. But this isn't one of those. It's a large book, and there's nothing subtle about it.

But after my shock at the size wore off, I realized that bigger may indeed be better. After all, this isn't one of those "brown bag" type topics about how to have a better orgasm or how to cheat on your spouse. It's about how to be more romantic. And who doesn't want that?

After I spent 30 minutes flipping through the 1001 ways, I realized I already had about 30 good ideas for new romantic things to try on my sweetheart. Better yet, I knew exactly how to get my husband to actually read the book and join me on my path to romantic utopia. Yep, you guessed it ... the book is now a permanent fixture in our bathroom.

It's filled with lists, which automatically makes it a good reference book. Plus, the lists make it a lot easier to read than you would first think. My favorite list was "7 Ways to Woo a Workaholic Away from Work."

If used in daily doses, your love life can't help but improve. The author gives romantic tips from the inexpensive and realistic-like taking a walk together-to the over-the-top-cash-in-your-savings type ideas-like converting your lover's entire record collection to CD. For each unusual idea, there's also an approximate price ($6,500 to convert the records to CD, if you must know) and contact information to help you execute every romantic idea listed.

Bottom line-A romantic adventure a day will keep the divorce lawyer away, so don't get married without it.

Summary: 1001 Ways To Rev-Up Your Relationship!
Review: Being an author, romance expert and relationship coach I'm always on the look out for good self-help romance and relationship books to read and recommend to others. I recommend 1001 WAYS TO BE ROMANTIC for its incredible array and variety of creative romantic tips and ideas.

Prior to discovering 1001 Ways . . . I had taken the time to get to know my wife in a very special way. Because I discovered my wife's style and documented all the details pertaining to her needs, desires, likes and dislikes, Gregory's book helped put my romantic mechanics into overdrive.

Just remember there is a lot of stuff in 1001 WAYS TO BE ROMANTIC. Even the most romantic folks can occasionally run low on ideas to express romantic love. The more you learn about your mate the more Gregory's book can supercharge your relationship. It's a great source of relationship fuel that can rev-up your love life in record time, especially when you've discovered your partner's style ahead of time, like I did.

Variety and creativity are some of the most constructive gifts we have been given. However, those gifts are seldom used to improve love relationships--their power and ability to evoke positive change is merely taken for granted by most individuals. Gregory J.P. Godek takes full advantage of his gifts and shares 1001 of them with all who want to honor, appreciate and celebrate love and romance through the entire Relationship Race.

Thanks to the awesome collection of romantic tips and ideas in Gregory's book being romantic remains simple and fun for me.

Summary: Romance as a Way of Life
Review: My name is Kevin Decker (kevindecker.com) and as an Author, Coach, and Motivational Speaker I read a lot of books about people, their motivations, and their relationships. 1,001 Ways to Be Romantic gets an A+ from me.

This is a book about living a way of life that is caring, loving, and passionate. It's not just dating ideas, it's about framing your actions (201-217), attitudes (346-362), and thoughts (508-527) with romance.

I use 1,001 Ways to Be Romantic like a cookbook. If I need:

- ideas on music I look at 406-414;

- ideas for celebrations I look at 172-177;

- ideas for movies at 856-861,

- ideas for dining out 683-693,

- there are even ideas for generating more ideas 615-626.

There's even a bonus section with 101 extra Ways to Be Romantic.

I recommend you get a copy of 1,001 Ways to Be Romantic and cook up some romance for your relationship.

Summary: an excellent book that can save your marriage
Review: My wife received this book as a gift at her bridal shower 12 years ago. I quickly annexed it (since I'm the one who needs help being romantic, not her).

Over the last 12 years, it has helped me IMMENSELY. Some of the ideas are pretty "out there", but many are perfect. More than just a list of things to do (although there is lots of that), it's also a book on how to *think* romantically.

I've purchased numerous copies of the book to give to my friends, and many of them have enjoyed it as much as I have. It's not the only book out there in this vein, but it certainly helps me.

Summary: Lots of Fluff
Review: This is a big book. Almost too big to carry. You would think that it would be filled with 1001 great ideas. Right? Not quite. I swear but half of the ideas revolve around chocolate, roses or jewelry. There is some good stuff in here, but it is hidden among a lot of fluff.

Personally I found The Romantic's Guide to be much better. It is smaller in size but actually have a lot more useable content.
