Rating:  Summary: A common sense approach to weight loss you can stick to! Review: Debra provides a common sense approach to weight loss for women that you can stick to. After all, a woman'a body is different than a man's. After completing the book, I have been educated on how my female fat cells work. Because of this knowledge I am more willing to give them a challenge. Debra's OFF steps make sense -- exercise and eating when you are hungry. Of course she gives you tips to stay motivated, but you'll have to read the book to get those!I highly recommend this book for women who have struggled and failed at diets. This is not a diet -- a lifelong, sensible commitment to a healthy lifestyle. As she says, there is no bad food if you don't overeat it.
Rating:  Summary: Best Book for Learning How to Keep the Weight Off Review: Finally a book that makes you feel good and accepting of the body you were born with. What a treat it was to hear someone tell me not to weigh myself every morning!!! I felt like a tremendous weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I have been recommending the book to all my friends. Whenever someone tells you not to diet but to put your efforts into exercise instead, that is great advice indeed. Stop buying all those diet books (that don't work - because if they did, you wouldn't need to try another diet!!!) and read this instead. And get out there and exercise!!!
Rating:  Summary: Realistic, helpful and relieving!!!! Review: I have been a yo-yo dieter for 10 years and this book finally did it for me. It is very clear, very logic and realistic. It also manages your expectations very well, it may not be for everybody.It is very informal so it's not heavy to read. The method is so simple that there is SIMPLY no excuse for not getting in shape. I have exercised for the last 12 years of my life and had not been able to achieve my fitness/shape goals, but the approach that Dr. Waterhouse recommends is wholistic and it makes sense for your body. Women out there: stop dieting and learn how to outsmart your fat cells!
Rating:  Summary: Great Book! Review: I loved this book. I am so tired of hearing about those low carb diets that sound too good to be true. Debra has set reasonable goals for eating and exercise. Half way through the book you realize that you are starting to make better food choices, and you don't feel like you are giving up anything. I would reccomend this book to any woman that wants to lose weight, keep it off, and feel great!
Rating:  Summary: Sound advice but use with utter care Review: I read this book and started to put in practice the author's advice. Although some of the advice is sound and the program seems to work, please be careful. For example, I tried to eat only when I was hungry, which resulted in extreme weakness and other medical problems. As a result I had to give up the program after a week, had to take two weeks off work because I felt constantly weak and fainting and couldn't start a new diet for at least one month. The only useful advice is the one to exercise more. But that's hardly new, isn't it?
Rating:  Summary: Peace at last! Review: I've tried just about every diet & exercise program on the market. You can get faster results than this, but this is about *lasting* results. This book presents the truth about metabolism in a brief and easy-to-understand fashion. The good news is that the suffering & deprivation associated with dieting is actually very counterproductive to fat loss. The advice in this book is worth 5x the price.
Rating:  Summary: Good information that makes sense! Review: This book is one of the few weight loss books that you will ever read that does not have menus, recipes or any of that. What it does have is simple, step by step ways you can change your reasons why you eat and when you eat that will trigger your body to lose fat. The author is good at explaining using simple diagrams and examples. If you have ever wondered why it seems you can eat very little and still not lose (or even gain!) weight, this book will explain why that is true, and how you overcome this issue. Using the simple methods in this book, I have lost 97 pounds. But...realize that it took me 3 years to lose it. However, also realize that I have kept it off for slightly over 1 year so far. This is not a "crash diet" program. It is a long-term change to your life style that will result in your achieving a weight that is healthy for you. By reading this book, you will find out how "yo-yo" dieting actually encourages your body to store fat, and makes it harder to lose weight. I definitely recommend this book to every woman who is serious about changing her life throught weight loss.

To my knowledge they have never been women. With this said, I believe that this book is your final answer. Women are different than men. If you wouldn't use your husband's colonge then why use his weight loss plan? The reality is, men just don't have a clue... so trust THIS program! It will not only help you lose weight, but after using it you will never have to say "I need to lose weight" again. This book clearly defines why we as women gain weight and what we can do to change it FOREVER! This is the last weight loss book you will ever need to buy, I promise. Buy it, Read it, Live it.
