Rating: Summary: Typo Frustration Review: Although I am quite impressed with the Imago method for couples, this book was a disappointment. Much of the text seemed more anecdotal or hypothetical than based on solid research. Worse was that only a "spell check" was used to edit--the frequent typographical errors became very frustrating and distracted me from the author's points. Nearly through the book, I did something I've never done before, which was count the typos--11 in the last 40 pages, many more earlier in the book. I actually wrote the author (also a first), who did reply with a gracious note. Nevertheless, the book is frustrating and a bit disappointing to read, and the price is quite excessive for the product. Perhaps the next edition will be an improvement--the Imago method deserves better packaging.

Rating: Summary: Invaluable for professionals and couples Review: As a "seasoned" Imago Therapist, I am impressed with how engaging Rick Brown's style is when communicating Imago Theory and application. The book is invaluable for the professional or the lay person who is interested in creating a conscious, connected, committed marriage or relationship which includes safety and passion. Rick offers the Imago Theory in an orderly, clear, concise and easy to read format. His examples are excellent, leaving lasting pictures in your mind. Joy Sweet, MA, LMFT,
