Summary: A Warning
Review: ... because this little gem opened my eyes (and my lungs) to a new way of using oxygen. Pam has a light, witty writing style that had me laughing while learning how to use basic breathing exercises to feel better and clean out my system. Highly recommended! -Bob Baker,...."

Summary: This book makes me dance!
Review: I bought this book as a last resort after being absolutely fed up with starving myself and other such things with no lasting result. Even after the first day of doing this program, my lethargy is gone, my posture is better, I feel stronger and more energetic. I find myself dancing and singing in the shower as I do these exercises! I am definitely losing weight, but even if I weren't, I would still do this program; it gives me a new outlook on my day. An added bonus: I'm a trained singer, and these exercises work wonders for breath control! If there is one weight loss book you buy, make it this one. It's not only about losing weight; it's about becoming an overall healthy human being, and that's something anyone can appreciate.

Summary: Breathe your way to a smaller size!
Review: I just bought this book a couple of weeks ago. It was a strange concept: "re-learning" how to breathe. I followed the exercises (or "cocktails" as Ms. Grout calls them) and I have lost weight and inches and my energy has really picked up! Ms. Grout's writing style is very upbeat and familiar. It's like she is a family member or a best friend. That makes this book a fun read! I have given this book to family and friends, I think it is a little gold mine. Losing a dress size or more without sweating? Without sore muscles? It's true!

Summary: A Revolutionary Read!
Review: I pruchased this book because it was referenced in a book that I was reading on Hypothyroidism. Pam Grout gets to the point without a lot of fluff. Within a week of taking her advice I see and feel the difference in my body. I'm going to continue because everthing she says seems to be working.

Summary: Well worth reading and doing. Writing style is disorganized.
Review: I read the book and began the exercises. I feel much more relaxed as the breathing reduces stress. I have also been using body flex and have lost weight and have a well toned body. While the book is humorous I find the writing style a bit disorganized at times, jumping from one series of thoughts to another. With that exception it is full of useful information and the exercises bring results. I do not start any day without doing Pam's exercises.

Summary: It Really Works!
Review: I was skeptical when purchasing this book, of course. Upon reading it, I started paying attention to my breathing, and couldn't believe how often I was holding my breath and not breathing at all. I've become much more conscious about it, and when I notice that I'm holding my breath, usually when under stress, I do some of Pam's exercises.

The benefit? The weight is literally falling off. Although I am dieting, I am doing the same diet as pre-Pam. Before I read this book, I could not lose ANY weight, no matter how "good" I was. Now, doing the same diet, I have been losing 2-3 pounds per week, and without much exercise. I've lost over 20 lbs, and have about 25 more to go, and am confident I will reach that goal very soon. I'm almost worried that I'm losing too fast! You must try this book if you are sick of dieting without results!

Summary: Best weight loss product I've used yet!
Review: I've tried numerous diet pills, all kinds of cardiovascular exercise which I found hard on my knees, and I've even gone and done the Yoga and Pilates thing. The exercises in this book, especially the bikini breath, were amazing. I was skeptical, but I was in the dressing rooms one day with my normal size and brand of clothes, and they were all either too loose, or I just seemed longer and leaner in them. I have lost pounds and gained energy. Great buy!

Summary: A Warning
Review: My doctor told me my metabolism had slowed with middle age, so I bought this book. It's well written and does make sense, and I had high hopes.

I did the exercises faithfully for over two weeks. One evening, I began yawning and couldn't stop. It interfered with my sleep. I couldn't get through a bowl of cereal without having to set it aside to yawn several times. This is the fourth day of yawning, and it isn't letting up.

I don't know why this is happening, but it's obviously a direct result of doing the exercises in the book. If you're going to try this regime, I strongly suggest you contact a breathing expert or doctor first.

Summary: Useful Book
Review: There are two books that have recently made a difference in my life and this is one of them. I bought three more copies to give as gifts.
