Review: Jonas et al.'s Healing, Intention and Energy Medicine is a compendium of research from a conference on Science and Spirituality held in 2000 at which I was a presenter. As the author of chapter 14 (I do not receive royalties), I am as impressed with the final form of the conference presentations as I was with the researchers and conference in general. The public at large is generally unaware that healing and intentionality has been the subject of laboratory investigations for over three decades. From the initial forays of Dr. Bernard Grad and (healer) Oskar Estabany in examining the influence of human consciousness/energy on animals and plants to the sophisticated experimentation of mental intention on equipment by Radin, Jahn & Dunne and others, Healing, ntention and Energy Medicine is a fascinating odyssey into the study of nonordinary healing and untapped human potentials well worth the exploration.
Jonas et al. have done justice to this body of work, presenting it in a clear, readable and entrancing form.
