No 10-syllable words, no promises of backflips by the end of the book. But what you do get is a genuine understanding of what is going on inside your body and what you can do to help yourself.

When I first read this book, I could not believe how it was describing me in many of the symptoms I have been experiencing. This book has great resources and suggestions for how to cope with FM. I refer back to it all the time. Easy to understand and very informative. Thank you Miryam for helping me to understand this affliction through your book.
Rating: Summary: If you have FMS, You and your family should read this book. Review: This book takes a different approach to Fibromyalgia than any other in my library. It addresses the disease in both male and female patients as well as children. It has actually case studies that hit very close to home, especially for me who had this disease as a child but was not diagnosed until I was 31. It also give wonderful advice on discussing FMS with your spouse, children and parents (who can be the most difficult to convince that they did not raise a perfectly healthy child). It also offers great advice on intimacy and closeness with your spouse or partner and how to maintain your relationship throughout the major flares without losing the relationship. Miryam Ehrlich Williamson also leaves the reader with many health, support and medical resources. It truly is "The first complete sourcebook of medical and nonmedical strategies for relieving the agony of fibromyalgia."
Rating: Summary: Wonderful! A great guide for people just diagnosed. Review: This was my first book I read after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Very informative. Great advice.
