The book provided profound perspective on what it means to be recently diagnosed HIV+ and more importantly, provided me with insight on how best to help my loved one. At the same time, I was able to follow the exercises and deal with my own emotional requirements. It truly helps move individuals forward from the initial crisis and begin reclaiming their lives. HIV and Me should be a must-read for any person, whether positive or negative, dealing with HIV.
