Summary: a psychologist loves this book!
Review: As a psychologist, I love this book! The perfect title for a great book on our culture's obsession with food and appearance. Even though it addresses eating disorders in menopausal women, two of my teenage patients have told me they feel it describes them in details not found in other books. The concrete solutions offered have helped them to change their thinking. They feel understood by the compassionate tone of the authors. I like the stress reduction techniques and their understanding of how thoughts lead to behaviors. Change your thoughts, change your behavior. This book can clearly help to heal.

Summary: Excellent book
Review: This book is both very informative and accessible. Intellegently written, it addresses the issue of runaway eating from many angles and includes scenarios to which the reader can relate. I highly recommend this to women who are experiencing abnormal eating behaviors, or to anyone who would like to learn more about this topic. Dr. Phil should take notes!
