Rating: Summary: Great compendium to any Psych 101 course Review: This collection of essays is a great secondary reader to assign with your psychology 101 text book. It is filled with well written, clear, and compelling critiques of mainstream psychological approaches. This book isn't "critical," but offers a "critique," which means it pushes the underlying assumptions of psychology to their limit and explores their implications. My students really benefited from the perspective, and it created a lot of good conversations in class.
