Summary: Excellent Reference
Review: I think the exercises in both this book and the separate video series are very effective. However, I found many of the written instructions in this book to be very unclear.

The book does have over 100 large pictures. However, the pictures do very little to illustrate the range of motion needed to complete the exercise in proper form. If you have never seen these exercises performed on the video, it's difficult to figure out what exactly you are supposed to do.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not even close to being as good as the video

Review: I've had this book for a number of years and have found in to be an invaluable resource when I need a refresher on the proper technique for various target-toning moves. The pictures are large and very helpful, even if they are black & white, and the text does an excellent job explaining how the various muscle groups should feel during the movement of the exercise. There are great little "tips and reminders" throughout the book that address both diet and exercise.

I'd recommend this book for anyone looking for a good all-around resource, especially for those just starting a fitness program or those who have "fallen off the wagon" and need to get started again.

Summary: Great pictures, easy reading fitness tips...
Review: Leisa Hart is phenomenal on video, and she looks great in print. This book is a great reference book for the beginner, and can remind advanced exercisers not to get carried away in un-necessary moves.

As always, Leisa Hart's body makes you want to work out more, and only hope that your wife could look that good!!! Great book for all...
