Summary: Embracing New Stereotypes
Review: I am a male to female transsexual, and as such must overcome my genetic heritage, which unfortunately includes a largely testosterone developed voice box...

It takes countless hours of practice to align one's voice to match one's newly expressed gender. While this book was not written specifically for transsexuals, I found Lilian's book an essential guide in embracing the female stereotype in which I hope to be percieved. This book showed how vocabulary has as much to do with presentation as timbre... Rules are made to be broken no doubt, and this is a book that aptly defines the rules.

Summary: Too Much Sterotyping
Review: What I like about this book is the different ways men and women express themselves. However, I find that there are too much sterotyping in the book. In addition, the author doesn't seen to take cultural and ethnic backgrounds into consideration.
