Rating: Summary: The book makes an excellent gift for special friends! Review: Ms. Durante's book is a real gem! I've bought several to give as gifts to my friends. The book shares insights for a more meaningful life. It makes you realize it's the simple, day to day experiences in life which makes it all worthwhile. Thank you, Dianne, for sharing your book!
Rating: Summary: best book i've read like this Review: Reading this delightful and practical book is like receiving a wonderful, inspirational letter from two wise and loving friends. Through the creative and skillful use of everyday symbols, the authors remind us to joyfully experience the process of life's journey by nurturing the body, mind, heart and spirit. One thing that definitely makes this book dance out from so many other self-help/inspirational books on the market today is its elegant and "deep" simplicity. This is a book that can be read in one sitting or opened at any time to any page for helpful and timely reminders for living a healthy, balanced life.....an invitation to enter the sacred space of Self with full awareness. This is a book for all age groups, for caregivers (who often need reminders, too) and those who are cared for....in other words, for just about anyone. If you're looking for one special self-help book this year, this one beams smiles from cover to cover. I highly and happily recommend it...for yourself and as a long-lasting gift for the special people in your life.

Rating: Summary: A beautiful reminder... Review: This is a book that offers us helpful reminders about how to look at life. Ms Durante writes like a friend talks to us. She also shares with us some of her own stories and explains how she has come to develop her genuine passion for life. She simplifies seven simple symbols we see every day and know very well into metaphors for a happy life. She reminds us that our goals are never out of our reach and suggests ways to attain them. Her words are easy and understandable to read but give the reader something to take away with them. A great book to read before bed, first thing in the morning or mid-day when you need a little break from stess. Complete with basic ideas for a healthier, happier life this book is a great guide to putting things in a more managable perspective. Please read it, you will enjoy the positive changes that it brings !
Rating: Summary: Discovering Happiness Review: When I first picked up this book, I was not overwhelmed by its volume. Nor was I put off by the language. It was easy to read and digest. Its exercises were helpful and thought-provoking. But most of all, it inspired me to look at my life differently, and for this, I am grateful. Thank you, Dianne, for your pearls of wisdom.
