Review: This is the first portrait of a neglected portion of a neglected but fascinating country. I have been to there, and have regreted the fact that so few people have access to information about Albania. I found this book while searching the Amazon catalog under "Albania"; otherwise I would never have known about it, despite the fact that I generally purchase every piece of printed matter I can find about the country.
