Rating: Summary: Absorbing but somewhat redundant Review: While this book was very interesting and well-written, not to mention well-researched, Tyldesley seemed to over analyze a bit. No new or unique ideas seemed to be covered. The author basically rehashed previous information and theories. Though she gives a credible account of Nefertiti and Akhenaten, I found some of the book to be redundant. I do not mean to imply that this is a weakness of the author's. We only know so much about Nefertiti's life and most historians must also play detective. Overall this book was extremely interesting and definitely worth reading. I'd recommend it to anyone with an interest in Egyptology.
