Summary: Signal
Review: This is a great book detailing the rise and fall of the German forces in WWII. It has over 200 photos (several pages in color) of the German army on all fronts. Theres photos of battles, POWs (german, russian, american, british), air combat, destroyed tanks, infantry, and just about everything else. This isnt a picture book, it has a good share of text, but the majority is pictures.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A definite must for all WW2 buffs!
Review: This is an outstanding photographic history of Germany's role in World War Two, from the street fighting in Warsaw, Poland, to the Fall of Berlin. Most of these photos are previously unpublished & one photo in particular stood out: one showing two German soldiers casually walking past a mortally wounded French soldier. There are plenty of great combat photos, showing the dreaded MG 34 & MG 42 machine guns, the elite "Fallschirmjager" (German paratroopers), the "Afrika Corps", & a great section on Barbarosa. This book is highly recommended to all WW2 buffs who want to learn more about Germany's point-of-view.
