Summary: Decent, leaves out stuff
Review: I used this book along with several others to write a paper for a college Civil War class on Hood's role in the campaign. This book was a decent source of information, but it often left things out. This would be a good starting point to read about Hood's role, but if you want to read about Hood and the campaign in more depth I would recommend Richard McMurry's J.B. Hood and the War for Southern Independence.
