This book ranks with John Warden's, The Air Campaign, as two of the best books on airpower to have been written since World War II. Lambeth, who has worked for Rand for many years, has flown many of the world's best combat aircraft but even better, he has great sources and a discerning mind. Also, he gives a candid look at what the future holds.
