Summary: clear, easy to understand handbook
Review: Grammatical aside, there is no other treatise on pre-Columbian America and the Aztec Calendar as complete, concise and thought provoking as this one. I didn't notice the grammatical error until the fellow from Tejas spotted it. I was too amazed at having my perception of Native America shattered. After reading many books on the Aztecs, I bought this book and was favorably impressed by the depth, continuity and treatment of the entire subject matter. There is so much information in this book its astounishing. The bibliography contains over 200 sources. Direct eyewitnesses from the 16th century are quoted. The Time-Line is great. I will be referring to this book for years to come.
