Summary: a fascinating read
Review: Yes, this book was most interesting to read. But two things from me: 1) They got what they deserved! and 2) Note that none of the black sailors survived, and the story admits that they, like the other white sailors who died, were eaten. But after carefully examining the text, It seems apparent that the captain probably shot THEN ate the black sailors. Read it for yourself.
