Summary: A Superlative Primer
Review: A must for anyone taking the Foreign Service Written Exam or an AP Government course in high school!
Nick Ragone demystifies the inner workings of American government, and provides valuable insight to all those not from "inside the Beltway." He leaves nothing out and writes with clarity, depth and a good sense of humor.

Highly recommended!

Summary: Finally !!!!!! A Book On Government ........ Simplified
Review: A must read for every student...... a life time reference book.
The author, Nick Ragone has un-complicated the workings of our system of government and made it a fun book to read. Looking foward to reading the authors next book. Anthony Graziano

Summary: Bravo Nick
Review: An excellent primer by a lawyer, political wiz and PR practioner extraordinaire. I highly recommend it for those that didn't take government or civics in high school or college.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Moving. Educational.
Review: Never before have I been moved so completely by a simple reference book. The author skillfully weaves his understanding of our democratic system with a profound love for L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics -- not an easy task. I bought this for my grandmother... and she hates books. That's how good this is. "Better than Cats," she says. I can't say I necessarily agree with her -- for starters, the private sector's influence on public policy and decision-making is nowhere near as entertaining as Mister Mistofellees' song and dance -- but who am I to argue with an old woman? Nobody, that's who.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Desktop Reference
Review: This is the sort of book I keep handy to answer any question that may come up about the US Govt. Easy to find answers, easy to read, yet thorough.
