Summary: Anyone interested in Md and Va naval history will love this!
Review: Extreamly facinating reading for anyone interested in naval history of the Chesapeak Bay. This is a well written book of events that helped shape our nation. From 1608 to 1978, the author clearly explains the events of maritime disasters on the Chesapeak Bay and it tributaries. The author has taken the best stories of the hundreds of ship wrecks and sinkings on the bay. For the wreck diver researching, this is a must have book. In the back of the book is a listing of several hundred ships lost on the bay. It lists the type of ship, approximate location, date lost and more.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Pedestrian
Review: This is more about ships being scuttled during wars than anything else. Good book to read when you're trying to get to sleep! Not much in the way of pictures.
