Summary: Good info on little known Panther VARIANTS
Review: Note: This is a book about variants based on the Panther chassis, thus the title Panther VARIANTS. The reviewer from Vanezuela complains about a lack of info on the Panther itself, but neglects to refer to New Vanguard #67, Panther Medium Tank. The information contained within is not easily come by, and some of these variants and proposed projects (like the Panther II) I had never heard of. A great resource. The title is correct. If you don't want information about Panther variants, don't buy a book called Panther VARIANTS.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Wrong title - It should be Little known Panther projects
Review: The book shows all the designed AFV variants on Panther chassis. If you are looking for Panther tanks, very little information will be found inside. For each Ausf. D, A, and G less than half page is used, but there are many pages dedicated to Bergepanther or AA guns built/designed. The night Panther with IR is well covered, including a side profile and the cutaway drawing. If you collect Panther books, this is a good addition for your collection, but if you are looking for the well known tank, look elsewhere like Squadron's Panther in action.
