Rating: Summary: Terrific analysis from a terrific professor Review: Like Professor Karakatsanis, I also have Greek roots. I was in awe of her detailed analysis - and the degree of thorough research she undertook to make this book a reality. In her class, Democratic Revolutions, we were required to read books by both she and Samuel Huntington regarding democratization. It is safe to say that I enjoyed Professor Karakatsanis's text much more, as it was much more objective and articulate in its presentation. If you are a student of the history of democratization, particularly in Greece, then this book is a must read!
