Summary: A story that Kerry and Bush should read
Review: I heard the author interviewed on New York radio, where the host said every school kid in America should read this book. I agree. Don't sign that oath until you read what we really do to some of our soliders and vets.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: "War on Soldiers" is an understatement
Review: This book both disgusted and enraged me. Everyone who waves the flag and shouts "Support the Troops" should read this book to learn how our government abuses these men and women and then breaks the most basic promises of support it made to them. It's like a laundry list of hypocrisy!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good read
Review: This book was excerpted in Seattle Weekly - it's amazing what we do to our troops: one guy risked his life so the soldiers in his unit could get paid!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Important for solidiers, vets and families
Review: This is not a Bush-bashing book but a government-bashing book (White House, Congress, name any year) and deservedly so. It's a timly and telling reminder of how we - our leaders - treat our troops on the war and home fronts. We've all heard about it - here are the sad and gory details.
