Summary: A great portrayal of recent history.
Review: This book was one of the textbooks for a recenthistory class that I took. I can honestly say that it was one of the most informative, easy-to-read history books I have come across. In many ways, it reads like a novel even though it is a textbook. It includes a large number of photographs from various historical events, and provides a good, solid overview of the events of the past fifty years. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in recent history, including history teachers.
