Review: I do not normally take time to write reviews, but for this work I will make an exception.

I met Mr. Conway in Physics-chat and I have seen him suffer virulent personal attacks from both atheistic and religious believers alike, which I think speaks to the validity of his discovery.

For the longest time I resisted reading this book, because (as an atheist) I was convinced that there was no God. I must admit that Mr. Conway's research on the collapse of the ancient world has brought to light many things ignored by academics, either deliberately or in ignorance. I cannot say that I agree with all of the conclusions in The Awful Truth, but this work has forced me to reconsider all that I have learned in my years as both a student and physics teacher. I think it does present a plausible solution to the mystery of human existence that demands additional research.

The Awful Truth is well written, carefully researched and presented in a cogent manner that will be enjoyed by both scholar and amateur alike - quite an achievement!

Review: This book can truly change your life. Mr. Conway has dedicated decades on researching this book, and what he found will amaze all who read it. This is probably the only book that actually tackles the issue of human existance with any true credibility.
If your a Dawinist you may not be after reading this book. And if you've always wondered about the pyramids, ancient cultures or the true roots of modern day religion, you've got to read this book.
For those with an open mind, this book can free your soul!

Summary: Probably the most important book of the 21st Century
Review: This book WILL change your life. Weather you agree with it or not you will not be the same after reading it. This book will stimulate your brain and take you on a journey of why our religious and scientific idologies are in such a funk. This book took me a long time for me to come to grips with because it disproved all that I ever grew up believeing and was taught. when I finally came to grips with this I feel like I have been set free by the "awful truth," which is indeed a wonderful truth; and it not being written by a theologian or scientist but by a humble man who simply wanted the truth took 20 years of research and placed it into this wonderful book. Pat I am forever greatful for this work. He does not say YOU BETTER ACCEPT THIS, but mearly gives you the information of his discoveries and its up to YOU to decide what to do with it. As contriverseal as it is once you come to grips with it you will see the world in a whole new light, a wonderful knowledge of history, and an amazing look at the ancient civilizations that once treated mankind like fodder. The best book I have ever read! I give it 100 stars out of five

Review: This self-published book is the work of a man who frequents Yahoo Chat spamming chat rooms to promote it. He once argued that the fact he had had a book published gave his views validity, without admitting that he published it himself.

The book is poorly written, poorly researched, and deliberately misleading. Selective quotation and deliberate misrepresentation of source material gives one no confidence in any views espoused by the author. Mr Conway has even admitted that he would rather be wrong than correct his numerous mistakes, because to correct any of his mistakes would be "bowing to academia". His delusions of grandeur have resulted in him comparing himself to Jesus, Galileo and Einstein.

Don't waste your money or your time with this book. If one could give a negative rating for a book, this would get it.
