Review: This book contains a phenomenal collection of photos of the Waffen SS in action on the Eastern Front in World War II. The book narrative is pretty standard stuff. I've seen it in a least a dozen books on similar subjects. However, virtually all of the photos contained in the book are new. The fact that this book contains new photos of a well-covered subject makes it well worth its cost.
