Summary: Amazing Japanese attacks on U.S. mainland
Review: This book covers all Japanese attacks so far discovered from Alaska to Mexico and as far east as Michigan. Includes attacks on Canada as far east as Manitoba and chapter on severe battles in Alaska's Aleutian Islands. Here are the attacks on British Columbia. Unique attacks on Southern California includes details and newspaper headlines for infamous "Battle of Los Angeles" in February 1942. Shelling of the U.S. harbor defence post on the Columbia River at Fort Stevens, Oregon by the Japanese Navy on June 21, 1942. Includes Japanese submarine attacks on shipping along U.S. west coast with details of the damage and sinking of many ships.
Japanese Navy bombs Oregon forests in Septmeber 1942 starting forest fire intending on burning the Oregon timber industry out of business. (The attack started the forest fire but it failed to burn down the forest.)
