Summary: Good primer.
Review: Summarised in just under 100 pages, this is a good read for anyone looking for a brief overview of the conflict. It doesn't do much editorialising, though - so if you're looking for a strong, penetrating view from a heavyweight, this is really more chronicle than commentary. Excellent start, though.
