in a balanced manner and a fine analysis accompanies each battle
discussed. It is a good book to begin understanding the nature of war
that was "supposed to end all wars". I also recommend
reading 'Real War, 1914-1918' by Liddell Hart for a non-specific
analysis. Overall, this book will be as useful to a professional as it
would be to a general reader.
